| I
was born on September 16, 1969 in Louisville, Kentucky at
Highlands Baptist Hospital. I have lived in Louisville most
of my life. I graduated as a Governor’s Scholar from
the Advanced Program at Ballard High School. I moved to St.
Louis, Missouri to attend Washington University where I earned
an A.B. Degree in history. I returned to Louisville where
I earned my Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of
Louisville.
Since 1995, I have practiced from my offices in Louisville,
Kentucky. However, my courtroom practice is statewide.
My practice focuses on high conflict and complex divorce
and custody cases. I represent individuals at both the trial
and appellate levels. I am associated with over twenty (20)
other attorneys who provide a wide range of legal services
in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the State of Indiana.
Outside of the practice of law, I am a lecturer to my colleagues
at Continuing Legal Education Seminars. I appear as a lecturer
for the Louisville Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association,
and Commercial Continuing Legal Education providers.
I am a member of the American, Kentucky, and Louisville Bar
Associations. I participate in the family law sections of
each Bar Association.
Beyond the practice of law, I live in Louisville with my
wife and daughter. I devote as much time as possible to civic
and political activities as possible. I hope to see Louisville
continue to grow into a world-class city.
